GROSSE FUGE

The island of Krk in Croatia. Bright sun, 37 degrees, hurricane-like gusts. A stony coastal landscape, icy nights. Turquoise blue sea in the back, four black chairs and Beethoven's most radical piece, the Great Fugue (GROSSE FUGE) for string quartet. The camera discovers four faces.
